Rise & Fall Season 2 Gets a Major Audience Twist
Rise & Fall season 2 is bringing a major change to its power-based reality show format. Hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, the upcoming season will give viewers an opportunity to influence the game even before the contestants enter the Tower.
According to the latest information released ahead of the show’s premiere, the makers have introduced an interactive feature called “Price For All.” Through this initiative, viewers can assign a starting value to contestants, with the selected value directly affecting their position in the opening episode.
This means the audience will have an important role in deciding who begins the competition as a Ruler and who starts as a Worker.
Virender Sehwag Explains the New Power
Virender Sehwag, who is making his streaming hosting debut with Rise & Fall season 2, explained the new format in the show’s promotional material. Instead of contestants alone determining the initial power structure, viewers will make the first major decision.
The audience can assign one of three values to a contestant: ₹4 lakh, ₹3.5 lakh or ₹75,000. The value selected by viewers becomes the amount with which that contestant enters the Tower, and it can determine their starting position in the game.
This addition gives the audience a direct connection to the show’s central theme of power, money and changing positions.
How Can the Audience Vote?
The voting process for Rise & Fall season 2 is designed to be accessible through the MX Player platform. Viewers can open the MX Player app, go to the Rise & Fall section and assign a value to as many contestants as they want before submitting their choices.
The reported voting window runs from September 20 to September 23, 2026, ahead of the show’s September 26 premiere.
With viewers deciding the contestants’ initial values, the first power move of the season effectively happens outside the Tower.
What Are Rulers and Workers in Rise & Fall?
The central concept of the show continues to revolve around two groups: Rulers and Workers.
The Rulers live in the luxurious Penthouse and enjoy greater privileges and decision-making authority. Workers, meanwhile, stay in the Basement and are responsible for completing tasks and contributing to the game’s prize pot. The show’s format allows positions to change as contestants face challenges, votes, alliances and strategic decisions.
Therefore, being selected as a Worker at the beginning does not necessarily mean a contestant will remain at the bottom. Similarly, Rulers must protect their position as the game progresses.
Rise & Fall Season 2 Contestants
The makers have announced a 15-member lineup for the second season. The Rise & Fall season 2 contestants include several familiar television and entertainment personalities.
The announced names include Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Karan Patel, Swara Bhasker, Shehzad Poonawalla, Tej Pratap Yadav, Sara Gurpal, Kajal Raghwani, Gautam Gulati, Manish Kashyap, Anish Bhagat, Raj Grover, Niharika Tiwari, Kaira, Siwet Tomar and Rudakova.
The mix of actors, public figures and digital creators is expected to create different approaches to alliances, competition and strategy.
Virender Sehwag Takes Over as Host
Another major change this season is the show’s host. Virender Sehwag has taken over hosting responsibilities from Ashneer Grover, who hosted the first season.
