Reports suggest Prabhas and Kriti are likely to get engaged and we might get good news next week. Well, here is what we know
Prabhas and Kriti are yet to share screen space. But their pairing and chemistry are sparking rumours since day 1. Inspired by the Indian epic Ramayan, Prabhas is all set to feature in the role of Shree Ram in his upcoming movie Adipurush. In the same film, Kriti is playing the role of Sita. Well, Adipurush is still waiting for a theatrical release but romance gossip of its lead pair is in full swing.
However, now a controversial film critic claimed that Prabhas and Kriti are planning to get engaged in Maldives by next week. As soon as the critic’s tweet gained the masses’ attention it spread like wildfire.
However, netizens seemed not to be convinced by the news and slammed the Twitter user for sharing fake news.

Another wrote: Accha ab ye baat kisne bataya appko? Prabhas ne ki Kriti Sanon ne? Aapko invitation mila hai kya engagement ka? Jara hamko uska screenshot dihavo toh?
On an earlier occasion as well, reports have claimed that Prabhas had proposed to Kriti for marriage and Kriti accepted the proposal. Varun Dhawan once bantered Sanon and said, “Her name is no more in the list of single-actresses, as her name is in someone’s heart”.

However, Kriti was quick enough to post a witty reply on her Instagram. She wrote, “It is neither Pyaar nor PR..our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter led to some Howl-arious rumours.”
Kriti further added, “Before some portal announces my wedding date let me burst your bubble. The rumours are baseless”.
Prabhas’ team has also quashed the rumours. Speaking to ETimes, a close associate of Prabhas said they are “just friends”. “The news about them getting engaged is not true,” quoted Prabhas’ team.
So, it looks like nobody is going to get trapped in false rumours this time.
However, what if the rumours come out to be true? We can only wish the duo to come out as a pair and hopefully witness another south-north Indian wedding of the year soon!
