Elnaaz Reveals Her Unexpected Role in Made In Heaven 2
Exciting news for fans of Made In Heaven as the second season is set to premiere on Prime Video on August 10. Elnaaz Norouzi, who plays one of the brides, recently revealed she wasn’t the first choice for her role. Zoya Akhtar, the director, had initially considered casting Sonam Kapoor.
Elnaaz, known for her role in Sacred Games, expressed her admiration for Zoya Akhtar and her eagerness to work with the renowned filmmaker. However, she had concerns about being considered for the role, thinking they might be looking for a big superstar, and she was just an outsider.
Zoya’s interest in Sonam Kapoor for the role was known, but it appears that Sonam’s availability may have been an issue. Regardless, Elnaaz decided to audition for the role, hoping for the best.
Made In Heaven 2 brings back the original cast and introduces new faces like Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra. Additionally, actors like Mrunal Thakur, Radhika Apte, Shibani Dandekar, and Sarah Jane Dias will be seen as brides in the second season.
