In Delhi’s, Luv Kush Ramleela 2023, he showcased his acting skills as Maharishi Vishwamitra, leaving the audience amazed. He will be seen in the role of Vishwamitra again this year in the Luv Kush Ramleela 2023. Ashwini Choubey, a Member of Parliament and Central Minister from Bihar’s Buxar will display his acting talent on the Ramleela stage.

Ashwini Choubey will perform in the Luv Kush Ramleela 2023 at Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan during Dussehra. This is a significant event, considering Ashwini Choubey’s parliamentary constituency is close to this narrative.
It’s believed that the ashram of Maharishi Vishwamitra was in Buxar itself. This is where Lord Rama killed Tadaka. From here, Maharishi Vishwamitra, along with Lord Rama and Lakshmana, reached Janaka’s city. Ashwini Choubey mentioned this context during his residence in Delhi, expressing pride in being chosen from Buxar.

He described Buxar as the land of knowledge and science and highlighted the influence of Maharishi Vishwamitra’s tapas (penance) in enabling Lord Rama and Lakshmana to acquire the necessary skills to combat demon-like behaviour. Portraying the character of Maharishi Vishwamitra was an incredible and fulfilling experience for him. He stated that the purpose of playing Vishwamitra’s character was to familiarize everyone with Buxar’s mythological significance. Buxar is known for its association with various ancient traditions and knowledge.
