1. Badhai Do

The much – awaited film of Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao will release on February 11, 2022. Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are known for their unconventional film choices.  After Badhai Ho, Badhai Do is another film that will touch on an important topic in society. Notably, the film will be released in Theatres.

2. Shabaash Mithu

Shabaash Mithu is a biopic of legendary woman cricketer Mithali Raj, who has a career span of almost 2 decades. Notably, she is still continuing as Indian Women’s ODI and Test Captain. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. It is slated to release on February 4, 2022 and it will be released in Theatres. 3. Gehraiyaan

With an amazing starcast, Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan will release on OTT platform (Amazon Prime).  Starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey, Dhairya Karwa  and Siddhanth  Chaturvedi in lead roles, the film will touch on the topic of complex modern relationships, Adulting, letting go and taking control of one’s life.  It is slated to release on February 11, 2022.

4. Loop Lapeta

After watching Tahir Raj Bhasin’s spectacular performance in Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen, we can’t get over him. Well, for all his fans there is good news, the second season of Yeh Kali Kali Ankhein will be released soon. Apart from it, he will be seen in Loop Lapeta along with Taapsee Pannu. Interestingly, Loop Lapeta is an official remake of German Film Run Rola Run. The film will be released on Netflix on February 4, 2022.

5. Gangubai Kathiawadi

The much – awaited film of Alia Bhatt will finally hit the theatres on February 25. After getting different release dates several times, 25th of February has now been locked for its release. It is a biopic of Gangubai who was a mafia queen and matriarch in the late 1960s. Notably, she was pushed into prostitution at a very young age by her boyfriend. She later came out as a very powerful woman who also had connections with the underworld. Notably, for this film, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have collaborated for the first time.

February has other releases as well.  Films like Jayeshbhai Jordaar starring Ranveer Singh will also release on 25 of this month. The film also stars Shalini Pandey. Apart from it, Mere Desh Ki Dharti directed by Faraz Haider is also scheduled to release on February 11, 2022.
