A new decade has begun and after watching some magnificent performances in 2019. Many newcomers made their foray into Bollywood in 2019. Siddhant Chaturvedi gave a phenomenal performance in Gully boy and Ananya Pandey won us with her cuteness and glamour in Student of the Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In this article, we will see top 5 promising Bollywood debut in 2019, who will definitely rock the cinema in the coming years.

1. Siddhant Chaturvedi

If there is one stand out debut performer in 2019, it is Sidhhant Chaturvedi. This guy nailed MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy while playing a senior pro to Murad (Ranveer Singh). He became a sensation after Gully Boy released on the big screen. He was previously seen portraying the vulnerable small-town guy Prashant in Amazon’s web series Inside Edge. He also dubbed for Chris Hemsworth in the Hindi version for Hollywood movie- Men in Black: International.

3. Ananya Pandey

Ananya Pandey delivered two decent performances this year. She got a dream debut in Student of the Year 2 along with Tara Sutaria. Though the film received mixed reviews, it gained traction for its vibrant canvas, youthful music, and Ananya Pandey’s character which had some grey shades too. Her role in Pati Patni Aur Who was also appreciated. She is definitely someone to look forward to in the future.

3. Abhimanyu Dassani

Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani made his debut in a very unconventional manner with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. He was praised by the audiences and the critics alike for his character of Surya in the movie. Surya is born with a rare condition- congenital insensitivity to pain. The film got a standing ovation at the 2018 MIAMI Film Festival and also won an award at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.

4. Vishal Jethwa

Vishal Jethwa was a show-steller in Mardaani 2 while playing the antagonist in the movie. He played his character so well that it will haunt you for a long time. His performance is so evil and dark that he became a talking point when the movie released. He is definitely in the list of top 5 promising Bollywood debut in 2019.

5. Tara Sutaria

Tara Sutaria too had a dream debut against youth icon Tiger Shroff in Student of Year 2. We have seen her as a child artist in Disney India’s show Big Bada Boom. She is trained in dancing and can also sing effectively. The other role she played was in Marjaavaan where she played Zoya. Although the movie was a flop, we saw a different shade of her acting in the movie.
