Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a 1975 British comedy film reflecting the Arthurian legend, written and performed by the Monty Python comedy group. Among comedies, it is one of the best movies to watch on Netflix right now. The movie is every bit hilarious in 2021 as it was in 1975. This is one of the most popular comedic movies but remains largely undiscovered by the Indian audience, so we highly suggest you check this out.

The Lunchbox

The movie about an unusual friendship between two people is nothing short of pure excellence. Not only are the performances by Irrfan Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui great but the direction and cinematography of the movie are on another level. An unlikely mistake by a tiffin carrier service results in Ila’s (Nimrat Kaur) tiffin, which was made for her husband, being delivered to Saajan Fernandes (Irrfan Khan). As per our views, this is probably the best Netflix movie if you want something Indian but not the typical Bollywood film.

Nightcrawler

One of the best performances of Jake Gyllenhaal, the movie is about a con man who discovers that he can make money by capturing photographs of crime scenes and starts resorting to extreme tactics to get them.  The thriller crime has been relatively underrated but it is one of the best Netflix movies to watch while you relax in isolation or lockdown. The movie is thoroughly entertaining and engaging from the start to the beginning.

Game over

Game Over is a psychological thriller film directed by Ashwin Saravanan that stars. The movie features Swapna (Taapsee Pannu), a game designer, suffers from PTSD and lives alone with her housemaid. However, her life turns upside down after a serial killer enters her house, making her play a twisted game for survival. The movie is one of the best Indian thrillers on Netflix and can give you literal chills. We highly recommend this multi-layered movie that can keep you talking about it for days.

Perks of Being a Wallflower

The movie is about a boy, Charlie, a 15-year-old introvert, who enters high school and is nervous about his new life. When he befriends his seniors, he learns to cope with his friend’s suicide and his tumultuous past. The coming-of-age drama film is an underrated movie that gives you hope and laughter and everything else that you need on a bad day.
