Only few things come close to a well-made mystery movie. Now, that the whole weekend is calling us on sofa to enjoy some amazing movies, it would be great to add a little excitement to your movie time. Here is a list of 5 recent amazing mystery flicks you should binge watch this weekend.

1. Knives Out – Amazon Prime Video

Knives Out is 2019’s Agatha Christie-inspired whodunit with an ensemble bonanza that really hits the spot. A dysfunctional family try to solve the mystery of their murdered patriarch, helped by a disarming American accent detective, played by Daniel Craig. The plot will keep you hooked till the end as the curiosity to find the murder will make you dive deep into the movie and become the detective yourself. Oh! we almost forgot.. Chris Evans is in the movie. Do you need more reasons to watch the movie now?

2. Murder on the Orient Express – Disney+Hotstar

If you are a fan of Jonny Depp like us, don’t miss this 2017 offering. The movie is based on the most enduring and popular murder-mysteries of all time. No matter how many times this plot is revisited, it excites us each and every time. It is a high-budget and engrossing movie which makes it worth a watch even though you know the summary of the movie.

3. Murder Mystery – Netflix

Watching Adam Sandler doing his thing again and again makes us love him more and more. Well, Netflix’s murder mystery is a sure-shot watch if you want to mix mystery and comedy. All the FRIENDS fan- Jennifer Anniston is also in this movie so just go and watch the movie. Don’t believe critics, after all, entertainment is what we all want.

4. Get Out – Amazon Prime Video

First 30 minutes in the movie, you will probably think that this suggestion sucks. Trust us! You can never imagine what’s coming towards you in the next 45 minutes. A young African-American visits his girlfriend’s parents for the weekend where his uneasiness and simmering about their reception of him reaches a boiling point. We challenge, you won’t be able to guess what’s going to happen.

5. The Departed – Netflix

You would be thinking what this 2006-movie is doing in the recent list. Well, there are some movies which we miss or we never heard of, but they are super awesome. Example – Contagion… Just read the names.. It has everyone’s favourite Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Jack Nicholson.
