1. Four more shots (Season 1 and Season 2)

Four more shots season one is about the female-centric show. The series starred D (Sayani Gupta), Umang ( Bani J), Anjana ( Kirti Kulhari) and Siddhi ( Maanvi Gagroo) as friends, who meet at a bar and discuss their dilemmas, Strive and love mishaps. The series is crafted tangentially that it will take you to the fascinating lives of these women. After the successful season one, Amazon prime is back with season 2. It starts with the same cliffhanger ending, where these women are again entangled, makes blunders, learns from it and discovers a never-ending friendship. The show is directed by Nupur Asthana and written by Devika Bhagat.



2. Mirzapur

Amazon Prime has come up with this Indian crime thriller web series to compete with the Netflix Scared game. The series revolves around drugs, guns and lawlessness. The rule of Mafia dons and the rivalry in the crime centric area of the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. The
lead cast starred, Kaleen Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi), his son Munna(Divyendu Sharma) and the young brothers, Bablu( Vikrant Massey) and Guddu(Ali Fazal). The first season ends with shocking thrills and a revenging twist. The beauty of the writing is so driven that the director Karan Anshuman, Gurmeet Singh was able to manage to pull off the characters. No doubt the upcoming season 2 will be of more revenge-driven and electrifying.

3. The Family man

 

The Family Man is an action, thriller drama story. The story is revolving around the middle-class common man, played by Manoj Bajpayee( Srikant Tiwari), who is a senior analyst in an
Intelligence Agency. The aim is to stop the terror or any threat activity upon the Country. Srikant’s life is affected by his much demanding job and also how he manages to keep up
his crazy children and his wife. Manoj Bajpayee is dominating his
character with his stellar performances. Season 1 started streaming from 20th September 2019 with 10 episodes and was a huge success. Therefore, season 2 is highly anticipated. The Family Man Season 2
will be released at the end of Dec 2020.


4. Paatal Lok

One of the best Indian crime thriller series of 2020. The series was highly acclaimed by the critics as well as the audiences. It starred Jaideep Ahlawat(Hathiram Chaudhary, a policeman), Gul Panag(Hathiram’s wife, Renu), Neeraj Kabi(high profile journalist and anchor Sanjeev
Mehra), Swastika Mukherjee(Dolly Mehra, Sanjeev’s wife), Ishwak Singh(Imran Ansari, Hathiram’s junior), and Abhishek Banerjee(Vishal “Hathoda” Tyagi). The story is based on Tarun Tejpals 2010 novel The Story of My Assassins, the web series is about a conspiracy to kill
the renowned journalist, the plan was by Pakistan’s ISI intending to defame the central government before the election. However, it is found later that there was no such connection to kill the journalist. It was to divert the cause of death and embrace the Ruling party government. The plot of the story is very engrossing and Jaideep Ahlawat’s performance makes this web series star-struck. The story is written by Sudip Sharma and directed by Avinash Arun and produced by
Anushka Sharma.

 

5. Breathe ( Season 1 and Season 2 )

Breathe season 1 was one the best crime thriller web series starred
the south superstar, R Madhavan, Amit Sadh and Sapna Pabbi. The story
is about a father, who tries to do anything beyond to save his son’s
life. Season one is highly appreciated and admired by the audiences.
Breathe Season 2 is led by Abhishek Bachchan(Avinash
Sabharwal) and Amit Sadh(Kabir Sawant), Nithya Menon(Avinash
Sabharwal’s wife, Abha) and Saiyami Kher(Shirley). The series is about
a psychological thriller with some mind games twists. It has been
created and directed by Mayank Sharma.
