Barbie box office collection: The Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling film confirmed marginal increase on Sunday amid wonderful to mixed reviews. Fanatics had been painting the city with purple by means of stepping out in purple amid the Barbie wave. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film was released alongside Christopher Nolan’s dark drama Oppenheimer, which led to the Barbenheimer fever throughout the globe.

According to a report, Barbie accrued around ₹7 crore in India on Sunday as consistent with early estimates. The film had opened at ₹five crore and went on to accumulate ₹6.5 crore on Saturday. It now stands at a three-day overall collection of ₹18.50 crore. Legions of red-clad moviegoers swarmed the theaters to provide Barbie the maximum vital weekend given to any movie in the last one year— and the largest ever for a female director- stated an industry insider. Gross wrote that the outlet for Barbie became “record-shattering.” “No comedic movie of any type has opened better than this, over a 3-day weekend,” he wrote. The film’s collection worldwide stands at $337 million as of Sunday.
