Uttarkashi Cloudburst: CM Dhami Reviews Flood Damage With Aerial Survey
In Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, a sudden cloudburst caused flash floods in various places especially in the region of Dharali. Beatings rains also caused water to rise considerably; however, it destroyed roads, houses, and local infrastructure. Residents are struggling with losses and the rescue and relief efforts are on allowance after the calamity. CM Dhami said that the government is fully with the victims during this crisis by promising them during his visit. He declared payments to those families who lost their life, property or livelihood because of the disaster.

Special teams, consisting of staff from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), have been deployed to support rescue and rehabilitation activities.
