1: CM Yogi Adityanath Commends Local Administration

As the sacred city of Ayodhya eagerly anticipates the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi on January 22, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a hands-on approach by inspecting all arrangements around the Ram Temple. During a press conference held on Friday, the Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction with the meticulous planning and execution of the preparation work.

Commending the local administration and ministers for their coordinated efforts, CM Yogi acknowledged their contributions in crucial areas such as traffic management, security, and liaison with the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He emphasized that the trust would continue its action plan even after the ceremony to facilitate darshan for devotees, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to witness the divine idol.

 2: CM Yogi Urges People To Use Authorized Modes of Transportation

In addition to lauding the preparations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged the public to cooperate by utilizing authorized modes of transportation rather than walking long distances in the cold. Expressing concern for those walking on foot, especially during the severe cold wave, he emphasized the importance of better coordination to avoid congestion and inconvenience.

“My appeal to the public is that the feelings that are in your mind are the same in your mind. If you come in better coordination, then there will be no problem. People should not walk on foot. A severe cold wave is going on. Do not make programs without informing,” said the Chief Minister.

3: ‘Netronmelan’ Ceremony to Unveil Ram Lalla’s Statue

Meanwhile, Govind Dev Giri, a member of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, shared details about the upcoming ‘Netronmelan’ ceremony. This unique ceremony involves unveiling the statue of Ram Lalla by applying honey to a gold bar. Explaining the ritual, Acharya Giri stated, “The basic method of ‘netronmelan’ is that by applying honey to a gold bar, the eyes become anointed, which looks like ‘kajal’ to the people.”

4: Idol of Ram Lalla Enshrined in Grand Temple

The idol of Ram Lalla, intricately carved by the renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka, has been enshrined in its grand temple. Standing at 51 inches tall and weighing 1.5 tonnes, the idol depicts Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, also crafted from the same stone. Acharya Govind Giri explained the significance of the ceremony, highlighting the Vedic rituals that would be conducted, including the symbolic tying of a bandage over the deity’s eyes, which would be unveiled on January 22 after the completion of the puja.

Meanwhile, Sharad Sharma, the media-in-charge of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), shared glimpses of the Ram Lalla idol, which was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on Thursday. Covered with a veil, the first photo of the idol was revealed during the placement ceremony.

 5: PM Modi to Perform Rituals During the Grand Ceremony

The grand ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 is expected to witness the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will also perform rituals to mark the ‘Pran Pratishtha.’ A team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, will be responsible for leading the main rituals during this historic event.
