Buzz About Vasundhara Raje Comeback Is Huge, But Is It True?
The Karnataka election has been a big blow to the BJP- there is no doubt about that. But, the BJP Government is not going to leave any stone unturned in getting its popularity back with other state elections. It is being said that they might use Vasundhara Raje to make a comeback, but how true is this rumor?

The 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held this year. As the last election was held in 2018, when Ashok Ghelot came to power, the time has come for new rounds of election. The dates will be announced by the Election Commission closer to time.
It is expected that Congress and BJP will go head on into this fight and the attempt for Congress to retain their power would be massive. At the same time, BJP will also struggle to make a mark to win this election as their loss in Karnataka was a huge blow for them.
The Ajmer Rally
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent trip to Ajmer was a big deal for Vasundhara Raje. Her presence on the dais with the Prime Minister has got people thinking if she is now planning to make a comeback. It is being believed that the BJP Government may put Raje as a leading face in the upcoming state elections.

Raje was seen taking the front seat in the rally with huge posters in the backdrop and received warm greetings from the PM himself. For BJP to win the elections in Rajasthan, they have to take regional parties into power. Though Raje has been ignored in the past by the Centre, they can no longer put aside the former CM.

Lately the focus of the BJP has been to spin the narrative in the PM vs CM battle where PM Modi and Ghelot are fighting the battle. Ghelot recently also said- “The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tasted defeat in the recent polls (in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka) due to the stubborn nature of the prime minister. There is no place for stubbornness in a democracy.”
Though no official indication has been received from either, it remains to be seen what happens next.
