The situation deeply impacted Palaash as well, who was reportedly very close to Smriti’s father. In a conversation with a media outlet, Palaash’s mother revealed that the singer broke down emotionally.
“He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours and administered IV fluids. He is under a lot of stress,” she shared.
Due to the sensitive circumstances, families mutually decided to call off the wedding rituals until further notice.
