A woman allegedly killed a 45-year-old man from Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh who had told Aniruddh Acharya Maharaj about his 18-acre property and single status. The woman allegedly pretended to be him in order to marry him and take his property.
Indrakumar Tiwari the victim was a farmer and part-time teacher from Padwar (Khitola) in the Jabalpur district. He made a public statement at a religious event last month according to a report released on Sunday. He shared that he had no one to care for his farmland and was frustrated at not finding a bride.
A now-famous video from the occasion shows Indrakumar describing his 18-acre property to Aniruddhacharya. Instead of giving serious advice the self-styled godman responded in jest advising Indrakumar to become a sadhu and donate his land for the benefit of society.
Sahiba Bano watched a video of Bhagwat Kathavachak Aniruddhacharya answering questions from Hindu devotees.
In the video, she saw Indra Kumar Tiwari, a teacher from Jabalpur, MP, with 18 acres of land and still unmarried.

Scammers Were Drawn to the Video
Fraudsters apparently took notice of the viral video. A knife was found in Indrakumar Tiwaris neck when his body was discovered in bushes along National Highway 28 in the Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh on June 6. He had vanished shortly after.
According to the report Santosh Kumar the superintendent of police for Kushinagar stated that preliminary investigation showed that Sahiba Bano a woman had used social media to approach Indrakumar with a marriage proposal while posing as Khushi Tiwari.
By pretending to be someone else using a fake Aadhaar card she convinced him to go to Gorakhpur. Indrakumar was contacted by Khushi Tiwari who made a marriage proposal. He consented to wed her. The woman and her associates then set a trap according to Kumar.

Killed Two Hours After the Wedding
Reports state that Sahiba Bano in the guise of Khushi Tiwari staged a fictitious wedding ceremony in Gorakhpur with the assistance of two accomplices and a few hours later killed Indrakumar Tiwari. They disposed of his body in a drain.
Indrakumar told his family that he was going to Kushinagar to marry Khushi according to the police.
After the man arrived in Gorakhpur the two were married. A few days later his body was located. According to Kushinagar SP Santosh Kumar it is suspected that the woman and her associates killed him and fled with some jewelry and cash that he was carrying.
Later on his body was found in Kushinagar Sukrauli neighborhood under Hata Kotwali with a knife still stuck in his neck.
Sahiba has been taken into custody. She also created a fraudulent Aadhaar card. The remaining accused are being sought after. The SP continued A thorough investigation is in progress.
The case was investigated by a joint Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh police team. During the investigation authorities discovered that the accused planned to pose as Indrakumars widow in order to claim his land using the fictitious marriage photos.
As of right now Sahiba and her two co-conspirators are in custody. According to reports Kushal one of them had been duped into a similar arranged marriage earlier this year. Investigators think that after the murder he was promised a portion of the land’s sale.
