Thailand extends visa-free entry until November
In the November of 2023, the Thai government stated that the visa for 180 days from 10th May, 2024, would be offered without any visa to the citizens of India. And now the Tourism Authority of Thailand has officially extended the facility, which gives the Indian tourists an extra six months to enjoy their holiday in Thailand until 10 November 2024. Previously, visas were only-on-arrival for Indians, where they could stay for 15 days. Thailand has one of the privileges of visa free entry, which gives an opportunity to Indians to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days.
Sri Lanka extends visa fees entry till May end
Sri Lanka has extended its visa-free entry for travelers from India until May 31, 2024. Indians can come to India without having visa fees on them without any visa limitation and stay up to 30 days. Although they have eliminated the fees for an e-visa application and experts have explained the usage of the website, travellers remain hesitant about applying online. The visa waiver was first extended in October 2023 to boost tourism in Sri Lanka.

Indians can apply for a longer multiple-entry Schengen visa
A new Schengen visa rule allows Indian travelers comfort access, the good thing for them if they have visited Schengen countries in the past. Adopting a new visa ‘cascade’ regime on 18th April this year, the European Commission, settles down that every Indian national residing in India can now issue a long-term, multi-entry Schengen visa valid for two years if they have already worked and used two visas within the preceding three years. This is more so the case as before the European Commission had not been granting six-month, two-year and five-year multiple-entry Schengen visas to Indian nationals easily.
