Out of 80 countries India has been ranked 67th on qualitative and quantitative indicators of provisions for end of life.
This was revealed in a report called ‘Quality of Death’ by Economic intelligence unit. Interestingly, Kerala provides two thirds soothing care services in India.
The UK topped the list whereas the US secured the ninth spot.
