A college student in Kerela was divorced by her NRI husband via a ‘triple talaq’ texted over whatsapp, within a month of their marriage.
Girl’s family is claiming that they have given Rs 10 lakh and 80 gold sovereigns as dowry.
The case has been registered in Women Commission’s Adalat, where the question was raised over the authenticity of a Whatsapp Divorce.
