Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement and his fans can’t get over the news!!!!

With Yuvraj Singh retiring from International Cricket, its end of an era in Cricket World. The man who united the generation of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli will not be seen in blue jersey on the field anymore. He has given us unlimited memories throughout his career. Be it six sixes in T20 World Cup or regular performances in 2011 ODI World Cup, he has a lot in the bank that we can remember our whole life.

Yuvraj Singh started his career when our generation has just started watching cricket

Yuvraj Singh started his career when our generation had just started watching cricket( 90’s, a generation to remember)  India was just learning to win games outside the country in the leadership of legendary Sourav Ganguly. There were many fascinating series between India and Pakistan during the period of 2000-2007.

The legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Virendra Sehwag Gautam Gambir and more were the part of the Indian team which won many accolades and rose to become the world leader in cricketing world afterwards.

Yuvraj Singh is the only one who used to bring us memories of glory days

Yuvraj Singh is the only one who used to bring us memories of those glory days when winning outside Asia was a big deal. The fascinating captain who waved his T-Shirt at Lords in the Natwest series can’t be forgotten. Yuvraj’s knock in that innings played a crucial part in the match to give us the iconic moment.

Cricket was a gentleman game till until Yuvraj Singh came in and made it a stylish game too

Cricket was a gentleman game till until Yuvraj Singh came in and made it a stylish game too. If Sachin Tendulkar brought new audiences to game, Yuvraj Singh glued those audiences. We even loved the way he used to push balls for single. Even his singles were a treat to our eyes and about big shots- there is no explanation how satisfying they were.

In the recent IPL when Yuvraj hit 3 sixes in a row to one of India’s best bowlers Yuzvendra Chahal, for a moment we thought that we might go back in 2007 but got out going for 4th six.
