West Indies lost the plot since the start of the chase

West Indies failed in the chase from the starting and couldn’t get the momentum. They lost wickets at crucial stages on quality bowling of Indian team. Bowling of Indian team was of ‘A’ quality against the West Indies in Old Trafford, Manchester Stadium as they hardly bowled at wrong line and length. India is the only team who is unbeaten in the World Cup and it seems unlikely that it will change in the group stage.

India has almost confirmed their place for the Semi-finals as they just need one win in the coming three matches. They are yet to play England, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.  Virat Kohli’s team is comfortably sitting in the second position with one less game.  Australia has played 7 matches and where they have lost just one match against the Indian team. They have 12 points in 6 matches and India has 11 points in 6 matches. New Zealand has the same points as India but they have played one more match than India. England is fourth in the list with 8 points in 7 matches.

Who all are likely to qualify for the Semi-Finals in World Cup 2019.

Australia is through to Semi-finals, India needs just one more win in three matches however they can qualify with 11 points too if they maintain healthy run-rate. Same goes with the New Zealand team as they too have 11 points. England needs to win both their matches to secure a place which is against Australia and New Zealand. Even though they win just one game they will have to depend on other team’s performance. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have to win every match that comes their way but only one will be able to qualify if England doesn’t.

Indian fans would want Pakistan to qualify for the Semi-finals so that India can defeat Pakistan again

We as Indians want Pakistan to qualify for the Semi-finals so that we can see another blockbuster. Pakistan has 7 points and they have 2 matches still to come. If they win both their matches and England loses one of theirs, Pakistan will be through to the Semifinals.
