The fields that are dominated by men are now flourishing with female leads.
In recent times we have seen people associating women with all wrong examples of feminism. There is a big difference between the perception of what feminism is and the truth of what it means. Feminism means everyone is treated fairly and with respect. It is not anti-anything, despite it is pro-equality.

Flight lieutenant Bhawana Kanth created history as she is among the first 3 women fighter pilots of the country. She participated in India’s biggest ceremonial event on January 26. That is the first time, a woman fighter pilot became part of the Indian Air Force’s tableau on republic day.
This 28-year-old flight lieutenant flies the MiG-21 Bison fighter plane. She was the first woman fighter pilot of IAF to qualify for combat missions.
Bhawana completed her operational syllabus to carry out combat missions during day time. She joined the fighter squadron in November 2017 and flew her first solo flight on a MiG-21 Bison in March 2018.
Born in Bihar’s Darbhanga district, Kanth completed her schooling at Barauni Refinery DAV Public School. She is also a trained engineer and pursued a Bachelor’s in Medical Electronics from BMS College of Engineering in Bengaluru.

Nikita cleared the Short Service Commission (SSC) exam and the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. She was commissioned at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai for her training.
There is a provision of age relaxation for war widows but the rest of the selection process is the same.
She quit her job in a Noida-based Multinational Company and made the transition to life in the Armed forces.
Nikita says her husband always wanted her to do well in life.

Ankita has always wanted to be an IPS since childhood. She went on to appear for the Civil Service Examinations twice before cracking it in her third attempt.
