The United States has expressed concerns over the violent situation in Kashmir and has also called on “all sides” to make a joint effort to find a peaceful solution to the issues, as they want to see the tensions de-escalated.
John Kirby, the State Department Spokesman answered when asked about the current violence in Kashmir, that US encourages all sides to find peaceful solutions.

Kirby also informed that the US, is in close touch with India over this issue, but o the other hand they are concerned about the conditions and wants peace to be restored.
Protest had hit the Kashmir valley since July 9, a day after the Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani had been killed in an encounter by the Indian security forces.
In the clashes between the protesters and security forces, 47 persons, which also included two policemen, were killed and 5,500 were injured.
