Unnao Rape Survivor was hit by Truck on Sunday while she was on her way to Rae Bareli


The Truck which rammed into the car and which carried the Unnao Rape survivor and her families has been recognized. The police found details on the truck and the ownership of truck has been imposed to the Samajwadi Party leader Nandu Pal’s elder brother Devendra Pal.

Earlier police recorded an FIR naming BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh his brother and 8 others in the connection to this accident. Opposition party and victim’s family alleged that the jailed lawmaker Kuldeep Singh has orchestrated the accident.

The girl and her lawyer were seriously injured and two aunts died

The accident took place on Sunday when the Unnao rape survivor was in car when a truck hit her. She, her lawyer were seriously injured and two family members were killed in the accident. The 19-year-old had accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of rape last in 2017. The girl is currently fighting for her life in a Hospital in Lucknow.

As per the police, cops responsible for girl’s security informed the rape-accused legislator about the girl’s travel plans.  None of the security personnel accompanied her on Sunday’s trip. Sources say that security personnel were asked to stay back as there was no vacant seat in the car.

Unnao Rape survivor’s sister had earlier said that they were pressurized to strike a deal

The number plate of truck was smeared with black paint to avoid the recognition.

The crash has happened after almost month-and- a- half after the survivor’s sister alleged that his family is being pressurized to strike a deal with the accused MLA.

Madhav Prasad, Unnao Superintendant of Police said that the incident happened when the family was going to visit survivor’s uncle who is in Rae Bareli prison for separate case.

The opposition has attacked BJP on the incident. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury lashed out on BJP.
