Despite having the required number of delegates supporting him, Donald Trump, a divided Republican Party has still not confirmed his nomination as their Presidential candidate.

Mr. Trump has done the unthinkable, and contra to all nay-sayers, has secured the number of delegates required to win the party’s Presidential nomination.

In a hard fought and bitter campagin, Trump trounced sixteen other candidates to secure twelve hundred and thirty eight delegates, which is one more than needed.

While thanking 15 delegates(not bound, free to support the candidate of their choice) in North Dakota on Thursday he said “got us right over the top.”

While his closest presidential rivals – Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Marco Rubio – have yet to free delegates pledged to support them at the convention, Mr Trump can win the prize with or without their help.
