Three lions found dead in the forests of Junagadh District

The condition of India’s wildlife is really bad. Poaching and loss of natural habitat has caused deaths of various animal species. In such a setting, the death of even one animal is a huge loss.

Recently, two lionesses and a cub were found dead in the forests of Junagadh district. It had been reported that they have been dead since Monday and were all found at different locations.

One of the lioness was 11- year old and was found dead near Kagmal forest area in Visavadar range. The cause of her death was old age.

The other lioness was 5- year old and was found dead in Rajpara due to pneumonia.The cub was found dead in the South Forest Range in Girnar Wildlife Sanctuary. However, the cause of death for the cub is not yet known.
