There is no reason for not including cricket in Olympics

Glenn McGrath, former Australian international cricketer and a commentator for Channel Nine’s cricket coverage believes that pitches for day/night First Class matches with a pink ball need to have some grass, without which the sphere could deteriorate quickly. “That’s been our experience in Australia,” McGrath said.

On the ongoing Olympics McGrath had a word to say about why cricket should not be played in Olympics, “Now you have Rugby Sevens in the Olympics, there is no reason why cricket should not be there. Perhaps you can have Twenty20 cricket. I liked it when cricket was played in the Commonwealth Games.”

He wanted the game Cricket to be played on the grounds of Olympics as there is no good reason to ignore the most eye ball catching game.
