Try This Healthy Moong Dal Chila at Your Home
Mornings are brutal, but surprisingly, the one breakfast dish you can’t resist is Moong ka Chila. Moong is healthy, nutritious and a good source of protein, so try this dish at your home. It is not only nutritious but it is very tasty to eat too. The amount of oil we use is very less. This dish is perfect for the breakfast in the morning.
Moong Dal Chila
- Prep Time: 20-30 minutes
- Cooking Time: 30-40 minutes
- Moong Dal- 2 cups
- Asafetida- 2 pinch
- Grated Ginger- Little bit
- Green Chillies- 2 or 3 finely chopped
- Green Coriander- 1 bowl chopped
- Salt- To taste
- Oil- 2-4 tablespoon
Firstly, Soak moong dal in water for 3 – 4 hours. Grind dal with asafetida and a little water and finely grind it. Put the powdered in a big bowl and mix ginger, green chillies, green coriander and salt and stir well.
Grate the paneer. Heat a nonstick tawa or and apply a little oil to the pan with a spoon, fill it in a spoonful of dal paste and spread it in a round shape.
Put little oil over it. Turn down the surface. Spread 2 small spoons of paneer over the top surface. Now, fold the chila like a dosa. Chila is ready to taste now, put it in a plate and serve it with curd or whatever the sauce you want to use.
