SRK pens down an emotional Tribute to ‘Baapji’ aka Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Bollywood celebrities pay tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee 


Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a remarkable orator and poet. His poems hit the right chords for poetry lovers.  Even the opposition admired his oratory skills. His charisma was unbeatable.  The tributes for the former Prime Minister is pouring from all corners on social media. Bollywood celebrities also took to Twitter to pay their last respects to him.  Well, he might have gone forever but his legacy will continue forever. He had millions of followers and one of them is Shah Rukh Khan. The King Khan of Bollywood took to twitter and shared an emotional post on Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  The former Prime Minister took his last breath yesterday and his cremation would be done today at 4 pm.

Taking to Twitter, SRK revealed how Vajpayeeji influenced his childhood. He further added, ” My father used to take me for every speech that Mr. Vajpayee made in Delhi. He was fondly known as Baapji at our home. Years later I had an opportunity to meet him. He was a legend. Today the Nation has lost a father figure and a great leader.”

He wrote that he has lost a significant part of his childhood and he considers himself lucky to have his influence on him during his formative years. May his soul rest in peace and he would always be remembered.

Other stars including Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Randeep Hooda and many more paid their last tribute to the great leader. His demise has left a void in Indian politics which could not be filled.  May his soul rest in peace. Let us all take a pledge to take his vision forward and give our best for our nation.
