According to the reports of Centre for disease and Control (CDC) , single parents in particular women are the most sleep deprived people in the United States.
A full 44 percent of single mothers living at home with their children under 18 fell short of the recommended sleep for a healthy body, currently set for seven hours a day.
Single dads fared slightly better at 38 percent but still were sleep deprived. Studies have shown that deprivation of sleep can cause many diseases like diabetes, heart diseases and depression, and are more likely to be involved in car accidents and workplace accidents.
There is increased risk of cancer in people , who do not get enough sleep on a regular basis.
