The Lion King franchise has a special place in Shah Rukh’s family


The king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and his Son Aaryan Khan will be the voice for Mufasa and Simba respectively in the upcoming film The Lion King. The Khan family loves ‘The Lion King series and has a special place in their hearts.

Shah Rukh said ‘As a father, I understand the father-son relationship of the movie characters Mustafa and Simba”. He also talked about the timeless legacy of the movie and being the part of the iconic movie which is remade will be extra special for him. He also felt excited as his youngest son Abram will see him and his older brother in the movie.

King Khan shared an interesting tweet to inform us about his new venture

The “Zero” actor tweeted a picture of him and his son with “Mufasa” and “Simba” written on the back of their T-Shirt. The post was also a support for the Indian team in World Cup match against Pakistan. He wrote “Ready for the match with the spirit of #FathersDay. Go India Go!!” on Twitter.

The legendary Hans Zimmer will produce music for the movie

The Lion King is an animated musical drama film based on the life of a lion in a Jungle. The movie is helmed by Jon Favreau which is all set to release on July 19 across the globe. The legendary Hans Zimmer is back after 1994 The Lion King movie to compose music for the movie.

The first “The Lion King” movie was released in 1994 which was a big success on the box-office and is still loved by the fans. Three movies of this series are released so far. The Lion King 2 released in 1998 and the third part of a franchise of the movie released in 2004.
