Setback for Apple in India; Will not be able to sell used phone

Now Apple Inc would not to be able to import used iphones as India has rejected the plan of US tech giant. The company has been seeking to revive flagging sales of its flagship Smartphone.

The company was planning to extend its practice of selling of refurbished iPhones at a discount in India and which could likely help the company to gain big market share in the country. But government’s decision of rejecting the idea has shattered their plans.

Notably, India is the third largest Smartphone market in the world and this move could have been a game changer in the Indian market.
