Salman Khan comes in rescue for Pakistani actors:- Bollywood star Salman Khan has recently come out in support of the Pakistani actors working in Bollywood, a day after India had carried out surgical strikes across the Line of Control.

While, speaking at a press conference, the Bollywood star said “that those who have killed our soldiers in Uri were terrorists. Pakistani artists are not terrorists”.

Salman Khan has also further justified his comments saying that all Pakistani artists who work in India only after getting government permits, so that there should be no reason to not allow them to work here. “They work only after getting their proper documents”.

Khan alongside emphasized on the need to maintain peaceful relations between the two countries.

Indian Motion Picture Producers Association has banned Pakistani actors

Salman’s comments came soon after the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association has passed a resolution, where they have banned Pakistani actors and technicians from working in India.

Several other Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Sajid Khan had come out in full praise on the Indian Army’s specialized operation yesterday. Recently, the Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Mawra Hocane have been trying to build their careers in Bollywood. Also, singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shafqat Amanat Ali have provided musical scores for films.

Mahira of ’Humsafar’ fame is still waiting to make her dream debut across Shah Rukh Khan in the their film ‘Raees’. Fawad Khan had also become a darling of audiences after his tele serial ‘Humsafar’ and ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’. He has made his debut with Sonam Kapoor in the film ‘Khoobsurat’.

But, it is unlikely that Fawad will be returning to India for the premiere of his upcoming film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”. He had discretely flown out of India soon after Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had called for a ban on Pakistani artists.

Meanwhile, the 19th soldier who was attacked in Uri succumbed to his injuries today.
