A man who became the youngest doctor then youngest IAS
This extremely brilliant man Roman Saini is one who actually deserves all the respect and happiness. This man even after acheiving peaks in his career listened to his heart end of the day.
When Dr. Roman Saini quit his high profile job in 2016 for teaching poor and underprivileged students who were suffering from acute economic conditions a ray of hope was seen among lakhs of poor students who don’t have access to quality of education but definitely have a dream in their eyes.
The former collector of Jabalpur offered to provide free online education to UPSC aspirants. This was a great intitative started by his end till then no one have even thought about doing the same. On the request of his students Roman also launched his teaching platform named ‘Unacademy’ for other competitive exams as well.
Roman, a native of Raikaranpur village in Rajasthan was born in middle class family. His dad is Engineer and mother is a homemaker. He was just 16 when he cleared pre-medical exam and became youngest doctor in AIIMS. In 2011, he decided to become a civil servant due to the ongoing problems in the society which he himself witnessed.
It was his firm determination and dedication that he cleared civil services examination in 2013 when he was just 22 and became youngest IAS officer. Alongside, his career he started teaching the UPSC aspirants with one of his friends Gaurav Munjal. Slowly, subscribers increased and this boosted the confidence of these two amazing people. Even a lot of aspirants cleared their exams too due to unacademy and Roman decided to dedicate his life in teaching only.
