Realme X2 pro review: Realme X2 Pro is a new competition for flagships phones

Since its inception, Realme has made quite a name in the Indian market. Surprisingly in only 20 months, Realme is giving a tough time to main market players like Redmi, Samsung, Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, and Nokia. All of its earlier mobile phones have been a success in the Indian Market. The company has focused on the budget segment and availed many options giving better specifications than its competitors at the same price.

The company has jumped into the flagship-level phones for the first time with Realme X2 pro. After breaking many records in the budget- segment, Realme with its new flagship phone is set to rule the 30,000 segments.

Realme X2 pro will be full-charge in just 35 minutes

Realme X2 pro comes with the 50W VOOC flash charge and claims to charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in only 35 minutes.  The phone has Snapdragon 855 Plus Chipset which is usually seen in flagships phones like OnePlus 7T and ROG Phone 2. It sports a 90Hz Ultra Smooth 6.5 inch Full HD + Super AMOLED display for a great viewing experience.

Cameras: 64 MP camera at the back and 16 MP in the front

The RealMe X2 Pro comes in two variants- 8 GB RAM & 128 GB ROM, 12 GB RAM & 256 GB ROM priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively. Like its popular RealMe XT, it has four cameras 64 MP+13MP+8MP+2MP in the back. For selfies, a 16MP camera is provided in the front.

Coming to designs, the phone seems a lot inspired by OnePlus7T Pro. The front of the phone is exactly the same as OnePlus7T Pro while the back of the phone has a similar look as the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone has a distinct look with a centrally mounted quad camera setup as well as an off-center location of the branding of the Realme phones. A beautiful glass panel with curved edges at the back with subtle gradient colors makes the phone sore to eyes.  The design makes it easier to hold the phone and all the metal and glass have translated the phone’s weight to 199 grams. The phone is a little heavy but why would you care when you get a plethora of good things at just Rs 29,999.
