Salman Khan’s Race3 hit screens today

Salman Khan starrer Race 3 has finally hit screens today. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.

The movie is basically about The Singh family comprises of Shamsher (Anil Kapoor) his step-son Sikandar (Salman Khan), twins Suraj (Saqib Saleem) and Sanjana (Daisy Shah). They run a business of illegal arms and trade with the help of their friend Yash (Bobby Deol). Things get dramatic when Jessica (Jacqueline Fernandez) meets Sikandar and the family ties are strained under each characters ulterior motive.

Both Race and Race 2 were about intra-family rivalries and greed. Such a premise was spiced up by trendy songs and dollops of glamour. Race 3 stays true to the pattern and adds Salman’s superstardom to it.

Race 3 was the much –awaited film of Salman Khan. In the movie, Salman Khan introduces himself as, “My name is Sikander, Sikander Singh.”

Dialogues in the film play on a different level altogether. Just like ‘My business is my business, none of your business,’ Daisy Shah comes up with another gem: ‘Isko dil nahi Dell khol ke dikhao (Don’t open your heart, switch on your Dell laptop).

Not that Race and Race 2 were classics, but Race 3 has taken things too far. Remo D’Souza’s idea of a dysfunctional family is far more underage than Abbas-Mustan’s.

We rate it 2.5 stars!
