R. Madhavan turns 49 and his ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mai’ memories are still fresh!

R. Madhavan turns a year older: Few things you need to know about him

R. Madhavan turns 49- We completely agree that age is just a number, and some people age like a fine wine. One of them is R. Madhavan.  He was born on June 1st, 1970, in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand.  The actor has done brilliant work in Bollywood.  He first appeared in a Sandalwood advertisement in 1996. He also worked in many TV shows such as Banegi Apni Baat, Toll Moll Ke Bol, and Ghar Jamai. His first film was ‘Is Raat Ki Subah Nhi’. After that, he worked with South Actress Reema Sen in the Tamil film ‘Minnale’ and that film changed his life overnight.  He became the Superhero of the South.

Talking about Bollywood, he has been a part of many successful films such as Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, and many others.  But the film that made him everybody’s favourite was Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein which was the Hindi remake of Minnale. He played the character of Maddy in the film, and it is still fresh in our memories.

The film was released in the year 2002. The film tops the chart of most romantic films of Bollywood. Dia Mirza and R.Madhavan looked amazing together.

Here are a few reasons why we still can’t get over this beautiful film

1. The film portrayed a sweet and simple love story. Maddy ( R. Madhavan character) sees a girl on a rainy day of Mumbai and falls in love with her. It was love at first sight. Loving someone back in the early 2000s was an uncomplicated task. It was simple and beautiful

2. Music was oh –so – pleasing. Sill, when someone goes through heartbreak, she or he plays “Sach Keh Raha hai Deewana” Now, please don’t lie. We all have done that. It was a  Breakup anthem.

3. The dialogues and comic timings were amazing in the film.

Madhavan did justice to his character and made this film one of the most loved films till now. We wish him a very Happy Birthday!
