According to latest research, pregnancy multivitamins are of no use rather they are a waste of money.
The study observed the results on babies and mothers, who consumed multivitamins during their pregnancy stage, no extra ordinary benefit or boosting health evidence came out of any of them.

Experts say basic vitamins should be taken care of which include vitamin D, folic acid, having a balanced diet as per NHS guidelines.
Vitamin A supplement could be dangerous and can harm the baby. Janet Fyle, at Royal College of Midwives guides, “We would encourage women who are pregnant or are thinking of becoming, to have a healthy, varied diet including fresh fruits and vegetables”.
