Rohit and Shakib were the stand-out performers in the World Cup

The automatic choice for the opening slot goes to Hitman Rohit Sharma. We considered Jason Roy looking at the impact he had for England’s team but David Warner was little better than him. Like everyone else’s team, we have made the Kiwi captain Kane Williamson our captain.

If anyone other than Kane Williamson deserved Man Of the tournament, it was Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladeshi superstar owned this World Cup with all-round performances. Joe Root and Ben Stokes made useful contributions for their team at crucial times. Alex Carey was the find for Australian team.
