No written exam will be conducted for recruitment of police constables in UP: Akhilesh Yadav

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav has announced in the meeting of the cabinet that there would be no written examination for the post of police constable.

He also added that people will be recruited on the basis of the performance of candidate in physical test and the marks obtained by candidate in class 10th and 12th.

According Akhilesh Yadav, “Employment of thirty five thousand constables will be done soon. And cabinet has taken the important decision that examinations will not be conducted.

The recruitment process will be completed on the basis of marks obtained by candidate in higher secondary school exam and performance in physical test.”

Indicating that there is scarcity of constables in the State Police, Yadav said that sufficient arrangements would be done to prepare the applicants.
