Nissan, Thinks The Future Is Electric.
4.5 years after Nissan LEAF was introduced it accounts for half of all EVs sold worldwide. Carlos Ghosn, said it was because of climate change they are adopting the use of electric vehicles. He believes they will continue their efforts to move faster to make it a mainstream choice with more plan charging infrastructure.
The Nissan LEAF, remains the best-selling EV and has reached the 250,000-unit milestone. It enjoys among the highest levels of customer satisfaction. They are fun to drive.
Nissan is planning to reuse LEAF batteries to store energy for commercial and industrial buildings by teaming up with Green Charge Networks, an energy startup.
