NHRC issued notice to Tamil Nadu government!


The National Human Rights Commission has recently issued a notice to Tamil Nadu’s chief secretary and director general of police over the rise in number of missing children in the state commission has further asked for detailed reports in this matter.

According to commission everyday more than two children go missing and during the first three months of the current year 271 children went missing from different parts of the state.


As per media reports on the 23rd March 2016 number of missing children cases in Tamil Nadu is on increase from 441 cases  in 2014 to 656 children in 2015. Reportedly, 58 children have gone missing from Chennai this year.
