Bollywood Films that we are most excited for in 2021


The bygone year was an exciting year for the content creators, not for the fact that they created a lot of content but for the fact that a lot of content came into the limelight and got consumed by people because of the pandemic. Of course, the OTT happened to give it a major boost. But this year, expecting the situation to improve and multiplexes to come back in the picture, here are the upcoming releases of 2021, which are sure going to make a buzz this year.



A star cast that includes Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the couple who is playing the couple, Kapil Dev and his wife, Romi Dev in Kabir Khan’s directorial film which is ought to be fun as it is about Cricket. The handpicked casts even have cricket icons including Sunil Gavaskar, Sandeep Patil, Yashpal Sharma, Madan Lal, Mohinder Amarnath, K. Srikkanth, Dilip Vengsarkar, etc, which is making all the needed hype.



An Abhishek Kapoor’s direction with Ayushmann Khurrana stars alongside Vaani Kapoor is on the watchlist of many. The film is the first mainstream one that has completed shooting in the Pandemic and is absolutely awaited by all.

In 2020, we lost the dear actor, Irrfan Khan, and the last film on which he worked in is The Song of Scorpions. It is expected to be released on the big screens in the early days of the year and we are really excited to see Irrfan in here.



Okay, so the Bhai of Bollywood is also gonna be back to the cinema. Prabhudheva’s directed film, Radhe: You are Most Wanted Bhai is likely to come on Eid 2021.



A period drama set on the lives of freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris is a much-awaited film for its story and the impact it would likely be creating. The rumored budget of the film is said to be Rs 450 and is likely to come on 26th January.



It will be a year for Sharukh Khan too as he is back on the screen with a film called Pathan, which is likely to star Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia alongside.



How can we forget the third Khan, Amir, who is coming with the critically acclaimed film, Lal Singh Chaddha which is a remake of the Hollywood film, Forest Gump. Advait Chandan has its own hype already.



An adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play,  “The Comedy Of Errors”, Cirkus is an attempt of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty where Ranveer is essaying a double role. The film is likely to come in the second half of the year.



Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are uniting to make Brahmastra, an Ayan Mujherjee’s superhero adventure film.



A film by one of the most controversial actresses of 2020, Kangana Ranaut, Thalaivi is a biopic on the Tamil politician J. Jayalalithaa. It is directed by AL Vijay.



Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for a change, is going to work with Alia Bhatt in his film, “Gangubai Kathiawadi” which is, as reported, a story of a brothel owner, Gangubai Kothewali.



The story of martyr Udham Singh will be brought by Vicky Kaushal. The story s being plotted on the 1919’s Jalliawala Bagh Incident. The film is direfcted by none other than Shoojit Sircar.



Written by Himanshu Sharma, Atrangi Re is a cross-culture love story starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Nimrat Kaur. And yes, the masses will be excited about it.



A will be Dussehra Release, Maidaan is a film casting Ajay Devgn, inspired by the story of Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach who had managed to redefine football in India.



A film for which it is not just Taapsee but the masses also are excited, is about a runner who fights in search of her identity to become an athlete.

Apart from these, films like Raksha Bhandhan, Bachchan Pandey, Toofan, Roohi Afzana are also some of the films to come in 2021 and people are really excited about them and so are we.
