Alberto Aguilera Valadez who is better known as Juan Gabriel was a popular Mexican singer and songwriter.
The singer passed away recently at the age of 66 after getting a heart attack in Santa Monica, California. The singer had performed in Los Angeles on Friday and was due to perform in a lot more place as a part of his US tour.
A statement on his official website read- “The creator of Juan Gabriel — songwriter, performer, family man, philanthropist and human being, known as Alberto Aguilera Valadez—today, he ended his time here and graduated from this life.”
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto paid condolences to his friends and family through a tweet and also said “A voice and a talent that represented Mexico. His music is a legacy to the world. He left us too soon. May he rest in peace.”
