Finally Mercedes-Benz took off the covers to reveal the aerodynamic shape of it’s new concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The car is called Concept IAA. International Aerodynamic Automobile increases its length by 39 centimeters as it touches 80km/hr. In which it achieves a drag coefficient of 0.19. this is a vast improvement over the Tesla Model S at 0.24.
The extendable flaps in the front and the rear help to improve the air flow. It’s powered by a gas- electric hybrid engine. Its top speed is 250km/h and it can go on electric for 66 kilometers.
There is no word when it will ever hit production. It is similar to the F 015 Luxury in Motion Concept. There are already reports the company is apparently developing a unique emotional Tesla rival that can cover 500km ( 310miles) on a single charge, which could be similar to the F 015 concept.
