MCA declares five-year scholarship for the young PranavDhanawade

President of Mumbai Cricket Association, Sharad Pawar has announced a scholarship award of Rs.10, 000 per month for the young schoolboy Pranav Dhanawade, who became the first batsman in the world to score thousand runs in one innings.

The scholarship has been given for the period of five years, which starts from January 2016 and continues till December 2021.

The association will also observe the cricketing and educational activities of the Pranav Dhanawade for the given period.

The teenager of Mumbai has created history by scoring 127 boundaries and 59 sixes to reach an unbeaten innings of 1009 during his team KC Gandhi School against Arya Gurukul School.
