BSP President might seek election from Ambedkar Nagar

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati hinted at becoming PM of the country in a recent rally in Ambedkar Nagar. The four-time MP from Ambedkar Nagar Mayawati said that if she gets a chance of becoming the Prime Minister, she will contest the Lok Sabha Election from the Ambedkar Nagar because the road to national politics goes through there.

She said, “If everything goes right, I may seek election from Ambedkar Nagar because the road to national politics goes through Ambedkar Nagar”.  Mayawati has been the MP from Ambedkar Nagar in 1989, 1998, 1999, and 2004. She said, time for Namo Namo is gone and time has come for people who chant“Jai Bhim”.

She also reacted to the Prime Minister Modi’s comment on Samajwadi Party going soft on Congress party while BSP has been going hard on the grand old party. Prime Minister Modi had said during an election rally in Patpargarh on Saturday that SP is soft and BSP is hard on Rahul Gandhi’s Congress. She attacked Modi saying that the Prime Minister is trying to create fissures between the BSP and SP alliance. The grand alliance of UP has done better than BJP in all these 4 phase elections, that’s why he is trying to break us said, Mayawati.

Two-phase election will see 118 seats

The fifth phase of election was conducted yesterday which saw 63.5% turnout. The Monday election will seal the fate of four giants Rajnath Singh, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Smriti Irani. Two-phase of election is left and scheduled for May 12 and May 23. Sixth and seventh phase election will see 59 seats each going for voting.
