According to a study, Mammals with big brains are more likely to extinct, although big- brained mammals are smarter than othes but they are at a high risk.
There is no co- relation between size of the brain and intelligence, therefore humans don’t have the biggest brains even in proportion to their body size.
Scientists further added that mammals with a capacious cranium also tend to live longer.
Standford University Professor Eric Abelson has recently suspected that there is a link between larger brains and the risk of extinction.
He added that now these animals will either extinct or would be protected with rebounding population.
