Live Updates: Six Bomb Blasts in Sri Lanka leaving 280 injured

Bomb explosion hit Sri Lanka on the Easter Day. More than 20 people have been killed in the blast. Explosions have hit three Churches and three hotels in and around the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo leaving many people injured.

Notably, the causalities were confirmed by the director of Colombo National Hospital. Several high- end hotels and one Church in the capital was targeted, while two Churches were targeted outside the Colombo.

The first blast ripped through St. Anthony’s Shrine in Colombo. According to reports, Police is doing its working and is engaged in evacuating the causalities. Notably, the second bomb blast was reported at St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo, a Catholic majority town north of Colombo.  The Church has appealed for help on its Facebook page.

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan officials are saying that they are checking for details.
