Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal travelled all the way to Patna to attend the swearing in ceremony of the new Bihar government, with Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister, and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son as Dy. CM.
In the photographs and videos, during the ceremony, a lot of bonhomie was witnessed between Lalu and Kejriwal. However, embarassed with his Public Display of Affection (PDOA) with Lalu, Kejriwal hastily issued a clarification, and added a bit of Lalu bashing to bolster his clarification.
According to Arvind Kejriwal, he went to Patna in support of Nitish Kumar, who he feels has done good work. However, according to him, Lalu Prasad Yadav pulled him on stage, and give him a tight hug, despite his not wanting to do so, whatever the pictures may say.
He further said “ Lalu made crores in fodder scam. But no order for recovery of that money. Just 25 lakh fine and a few years in jail. A sweet deal.”
