Kabir Singh reaches 100 crores in just 5 days


Nobody expected this storm from ‘A’ rated film

Kabir Singh since release has been accepted well by the audience. After a record opening, the movie has now entered into 100 crore club in just 5 days. The movie raked in 16.53 crore on day 5 of its release and took the total to 104.90 crores.

Friday-       21st June – 20.21 cr

Saturday –  22nd June – 22.71 cr

Sunday –    23rd June – 27.91 cr

Monday-    24th June – 17.54 cr

Tuesday –  25th June – 16.53 cr

First solo movie of Shahid Kapoor to reach 100 crore

This is Shahid Kapoor first solo movie to make into 100 crore club. Before this Shahid’s Padmaavat earned more than 300 crores last year. Padmaavat also has Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.  

The movie released in limited screen (3123) which is 1500 less than of Bharat (4700) and still managed to bring audience. It is also A rated film and there hadn’t been any hiking in price and it also got mixed reviews. Many critics slammed the movie for its sexism and misogyny content.

The movie is expected to earn 200 crore

Nobody expected this storm from a Shahid Kapoor starrer. It was expected that it will barely touch 100 crores but it will now to reach 200 crores. It will collect about 130 crores in its first week.

Kabir Singh is a remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy which has been helmed by the same director who helmed the Telugu version. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has directed the movie and music has been composed by Mithoon, Amaal Malik, Akhil Sachdeva, Sachet-Parampara
